ODYSSEY CANCELLATION POLICY
At Odyssey, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy ensures a balance between flexibility for participants and covering logistical costs. The following policy applies across all treks, with specific additions for certain treks or conditions.
General Cancellation Policy:
1. 30 days or more before the trek start date: There will be a 10% cancellation charge.
2. Less than 30 days before the trek start date: No refund will be provided. However, participants can transfer their booking to another eligible person for no additional cost OR reschedule their trek to a later date.
Cancellations due to local, state, or central tensions in Kashmir,Ladakh and Nepal:
1. No refund will be issued if the trek is canceled due to political or security tensions.
2. Trekkers will have the option to return for a future trek free of cost.
Cancellation Due to Fitness Issues:
1. If a participant is deemed unfit during the trek and is asked to return for safety reasons, no refund will be provided. This is to account for the logistics and resources committed to ensuring the safety of all trekkers.2. To avoid this, we encourage trekkers to follow the fitness guidelines provided in preparation for the trek.
Cancellation Due to Weather:
1. If the trek is canceled due to bad weather conditions before participants reach our base camp, either by authorities or at the discretion of Odyssey, no refund will be given. Mid way return due to bad weather leads to no refund.
2. However, trekkers can choose to return and do the trek at any time in the future at no extra cost. This ensures that safety remains our top priority while providing flexibility for our participants
